Andreia Costa Vieira, founder and director of the Institute, holds a PhD in International Law (USP), a Master's in International Trade Law (University of Nottingham, UK) and was Visiting Fellow at the University of Cambridge (UK) where she finished her PhD studies. She is a lawyer registered at OAB (Brazilian Bar Association), International Consultant and Legal Adviser and Professor of PhD, Masters and Undergraduate courses in Brazil. She was a lawyer at Caritas/UNHCR / Ministry of Justice for Refugees in Brazil and a Temporary Delegate Member of the Brazilian Diplomatic Mission to the WTO, UNCTAD and other I.Os. in Geneva. She is the author of books and papers published in the area of International Law and International Relations, having provided international legal advice in her subjects of expertise.
