Andreia Costa Vieira, founder and director of the Institute, holds a PhD in International Law (USP), a Master's in International Trade Law (University of Nottingham, UK) and was Visiting Fellow at the University of Cambridge (UK). She is a lawyer registered at OAB/SP (Brazilian Bar Association), International Consultant and Legal Adviser and Professor of PhD, Masters and Undergraduate courses in Brazil. She was a lawyer at Caritas/UNHCR / Ministry of Justice for Refugees in Brazil and a Temporary Delegate Member of the Brazilian Diplomatic Mission to the WTO and other I.Os. in Geneva. She is the author of books and papers published in the area of International Law and International Relations, having provided international legal advice in her subjects of expertise.
Antonio Rodrigues Costa is a lawyer registered at the OAB-ES (Brazilian Bar Association), specialized in Labour and Social Security Law and he is Financial Director at the institute. He worked 28 years in the financing sector of the Brazilian Bank Bradesco and also worked, for 5 years, on the sales sector of the Brazilian tranport companies Aguia Branca and Itaperim. He develops research, at the ACV International Law Institute, on the subjects of International and Comparative Labour and Social Security Law, and currently he is working on the Bilateral Treaty on Social Security Law signed by Brazil and Portugal.
